One more exam

I need a -3% on the final in geology to pass the class. This may seem like a lofty goal but I feel that with hard work I can achieve this mark or perhaps something even better.

I will be going to calgary right after my exam. That means that I could be leaving regina as soon as 10am on friday but I am planning to leave by 12. It is a 3 hour exam so I should assume that I won't be done till 11 even though I expect that I will be done in around an hour.

Passed!

I passed the course. The professor says that I got a 78% on the final which gave me a 68% for the course. I am more than happy with this given the problems I had at the beginning of the course.

The only confusing part is that I didn't think that I had answered enough to get more than a 80% even if I did everything right. Of course that has happened to me before, on a math final I answered enough to get 80% on the final and ended up with a 79%. I was able to see my exam a few weeks later and the mark I lost was so cheesey I was almost mad about it. It was something like writing 1.5 instead of 3/2.

This means that I am virtually garenteed entrance to the co-op program as I have done exactly what they told me I had to do. Starting in January I should be spending 8 months working.

Maybe I will catch up on my school costs a bit.

Either way....Rock on!

One class left

One down, one to go. I only need a 59% to pass the system dynamics course. I am trembling to see if I did it.

Got my student loan today. $5000 for one semester and nearly $2000 of that will be considered a grant or a bursury once I finish the semester. All because I have a kid. Apperently going to school while raising a child qualifies me for extra support.

I still have to pay back the remaining 3000 in 4 years though.

last course is geography. Rocks for jocks. I should do ok in that...even if I cut my head off.
