Still Sick

I am mostly better but still have a nasty nagging cough.

It is the type of cough that hits you every 20 seconds or so. It is overpowering and forces me to hack my toes out through my nose. The demoralising part is the fact that nothing every changes from the cough. No matter how hard I cough I will still have to cough again in 20-30 seconds.

Now my brain feels like it is loose in my head from all the coughing and it rattles around with each hack.

On rare occasions I actually loosen some phlegm or get that satisfied feeling that I actually accomplished something with an individual hack. Luckily that only lasts a few seconds until I realise that it is just playing with me and nothing actually got better.

Go me!
