Consider two non-zero numbers "a" and "b", such that a = b.
If a = b, Then we can also write, a*a = a*b
Subtract the same thing from both sides:
a² - b² = ab - b²
(a-b)*(a+b) = b(a-b)
Hence, a + b = b
But a = b, So, the last equation can be written as, b + b = b ........!
So, 2b = b
Hence, 2 = 1 .....!
